Welcome to the new newsletter, where we reveal the winner of the ‘Girl On A Train’ white label Test Pressing competition!
First of all, thank you to everyone who bought a copy of 'Its A Mod Mod World CD, the original Hi-Lo Records compilation album! We found a box of the CDs and added them to the store last week. We still have a few left and you can read all the details by clicking on the picture link below:-
Meanwhile, we’ve completely sold out of ‘Get Ready To Go’ red and green coloured vinyl, and ‘My Mind Goes Round In Circles’ blue coloured vinyl singles. We only have a few left of the milky clear 'Circles', bubblegum pink ‘No Time Tomorrow’ and original ‘Eight Miles High’. So be quick if you’ve been pondering what to get next!
Last month, Chanel decided to give up her White Label Test Pressing of ‘Girl On A Train’ as a competition prize for a lucky subscriber to the Squire Fan Club Newsletter.
There was no tricky question, all you have to do is make sure you were ‘on the list’ and your name was included in the draw. If you receive the weekly email from Squire you were in!
As we explained before, White Label Test Pressings are very special editions of the record ‘hand pressed’ on the most superior grade black vinyl. Only a few are made and are of the highest quality and fidelity, and very hard to come by. Hence they are the ultimate prized possession of avid record collectors!
Well, today is the day we announce the winner of the competition. Out of the hundreds on the list, we used a clever random number generator to get down to the last twenty, and Chanel used her even cleverer skills to pick the lucky name!
You can see all the action and Anthony revealing the name of the lucky winner in the video below!
Next week we have a big new release announcement so make sure you are subscribed and receiving the emails!
All the best from Squire!
