From Orange County, south of Los Angeles, I met writer and lead singer Shane many times, and he really was the young driving force, and gave me this record, keenly hoping for a Hilo release - They ended up on the American Heart & Soul Compilation, and tracks also came out on UK’s Unicorn Records later! They were excellent live and came to prominence in the mid 1980s, alongside Perry’s Chardon Square and of course, Tony’s The Question, so a big part of the mid 1980s mod/ska scene. In fact, this single also features David White, drummer for The Question! The sound is power pop, the style is mod. The performance is pure teen adrenaline!
